On February 27, 2014 a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued by invitation only to investigators that submitted a LOI to be reviewed by the TexasMRC Executive Committee. Proposals submitted without a LOI and the subsequent invitation to submit a RFP will not be reviewed. Proposal requirements including format, program policies, and budget restrictions can be found on the Proposal Guidelines document. Proposals are due by Midnight on March 24, 2014. Submitted proposals will be evaluated using a 100-point system. Scoring will apply to the following proposal attributes: • Scientific/Scholarly Merit • Qualifications of the Investigators • Potential for External Funding
The total amount of funds available for this program is expected to be at least $750,000. The funding period is one year. The earliest start date on funded proposals is May 1, 2014.
